 For 111 years, the Minoa Volunteer Fire Department has played a vital role in protecting the citizens in eastern Onondaga County. Well trained and equipped, today’s fire men and women perform numerous safety functions and educational services that benefit the community. As a volunteer fire department. no member of the department draws a salary. All members take pride in serving their neighbors, families, and friends.

Throughout the year, the Minoa Volunteer Fire Department raises funds to help recruit and train new members as well as to show appreciation to our current members for their service. As a part of our community, we are asking if you will assist our fundraising efforts, which will also bring attention and customers to your business establishment.

Date & Time

The Minoa Volunteer Fire Department is holding its 16th Annual Shotgun Memorial Golf Tournament on Sunday, September 29, 2024 at the Wa-Noa Golf Course in East Syracuse. Registration begins at 7:30 am with tee-off time at 9:00 am.

Buffet & Raffle

After golf, join us for a lunch buffet and participate in our raffles and 50/50 throughout the day. All proceeds raised support the Minoa Volunteer Fire Department. We are asking your business if you can do one (or more!) of the following:

  1. Purchasie a tee or pin sponsorship sign at $100
  2. Donate a door prize or prizes that will be raffled off at the end of the tournament
  3. Golf with us for only $400 a team, which includes a $20 team SKINS fee. This cost includes 18 holes of golf with a cart, beverages for each cart. All golfers enjoy a buffet at the end of the tournament.

Your gift will be publicized on our Golf Tournament Facebook page as well as in signage and flyers handed out the day of the tournament. The Minoa Fire Department is a non-profit 501(c) organization, tax ID#16-1030696.
