The meaning of Memorial in the name of the Golf Tournament
The Minoa Fire Department's annual golf tournament is a fundraiser, yes. But, it has the dual purpose to honor life members of the Minoa Fire Department who have passed away. Thus, we remember every member who has served the Minoa community back to the start of the Department in 1913.
On the day of the Golf Tournament, our banner and the markers for the hole sponsors will have the names of members who are being honored. We remember their service.
