Open House — Good To See You

On Saturday, April 13, 2024, Minoa Fire Department jumped in and participated with an Open House at Station 1, part of a statewide effort to recruit volunteer firefighters. We are always anxious to show our public what we do to keep them safe along with the apparatus and resources that the public supports.

The first image that pops into mind about a volunteer firefighter organization is the firefighter, the brave individual who knows how to knock down a fire and to rescue endangered people. Such individuals are always needed within our corps.

We wanted potential volunteers to know that we have additional needs. We recruit for EMTs, fire-police to direct traffic in emergencies, and we have many roles that support members, who will never get near a fire, can fill such as information technology tasks and small engine repair.

Our next Open House will be in October. But, you may bring your interest in our Fire Department to us anytime. Begin by sending an email to info@minoafire.org. We hope to connect soon!
